Vale of Clwyd Angling Club has fishing on the River Clwyd at Llanynys which also includes a stretch on the Clywedog.

The Clwyd here is hardly fished. Sewin (sea trout) and salmon have been regularly caught in this area. Well worth a walk given some water from August onwards and this stretch will be fishable after rain much earlier than the main river.

The River Clywedog stretch has wild brown trout supplemented with stocked fish. Sewin (sea trout) and salmon may also be present.
