Roath Park Lake

Roath is a public park lake in Cardiff about half a mile long and quarter of a mile wide, lovely setting with islands and some features.

The lake holds specimen carp, pike, bream and various other species of coarse fish. It is very weedy and appropriate tackle and fish care products are essential.

Glamorgan Anglers Club have been in talks with Cardiff City Council in regards to taking on the Angling Licence on the Lake. Talks are ongoing.

Currently, angling is permitted on the lake for holders of the EA / NRW Freshwater fishing rod licence.
