Porth Dinllaen - Fishing in Wales

Porth Dinllaen

Porth Dinllaen beach is sandy, fishing onto clean ground. It is probably best known for its pub, the “Ty Coch” (Red House).

Fish available here include plaice, dabs, rays, bass, whiting.

At Llanhaelhaearn on the A499 take the B4417 to Morfa Nefyn. Parking is available in either the National Trust car park at the end of Lon Golff or in Morfa Nefyn Golf Club car park. There is a charge for both of these. Access to the beach is by walking down the lane across the golf course (only residents of Porth Dinllaen may drive down the lane).
