Ogwen Valley Angling Association has trout fishing on Llyn Ogwen in Gwynedd. Mixed methods are allowed and the lake is also stocked with rainbow trout to supplement the wild brown trout population. Access to the water is fairly easy at several points from the roadside and access to the far side is possible by following the public footpath from Pont y Benglog near the dam end as far as Tal Llyn Ogwen farm at the eastern end of the lake. PLease note that ONLY RAINBOW TROUT fishing is allowed between 18th October and 30th November.
