Illtyd Griffiths is a well-known Welsh angling writer and instructor, who has fly fished for nearly sixty years. Illtyd has fished all over the world, yet still fishes for sea trout (sewin) close to home on the rivers of mid-Wales, and this fishing is still his greatest passion. A master casting instructor, the ability to cast a fly well for trout or salmon well is essential to get serious enjoyment from fishing – Illtyd loves teaching other people his vast repertoire of casting skills.
