The Bryn-Y-Pys Angling Association

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2024: This fishing club has now closed down.

From the club Facebook Page: No members were willing to take it on after the chairman and treasurer had to stand down due to ill health so the club was dissolved and the remaining funds were donated to charity.

It is believed that Prince Albert angling club has taken over some of the water.

Bryn-y-Pys Angling Association has been in existence in its present form for over 60 years and now has on average 200 members annually.

Our club boasts fishing rights to approximately 4 1/2 miles of mainly double bank fishing on the River Dee between Overton Bridge and Bangor on Dee Racecourse and is set amongst some of the most picturesque scenery on the Dee.

The river holds some superb natural and stocked Trout, Grayling, Chub, Dace, Perch and Pike and will appeal to both the game angler as well as the coarse angler.
