St Clears Angling Association – River Taf and tributaries

St Clears Angling Association has fishing on the River Taf from Ddolerwydd Farm to the tidal waters in lower St. Clears. The Taf is a sea trout river, but also fishes for salmon and brown trout.

The association also has fishing on further beats of the River Taf, the Cywyn (Cowin) and Cynin, tributaries of the Taf, and the Dewi Fawr, a tributary of the Cynin.

St Clears Angling permits are now For Sale in Ivy Texaco garage St Clears for the new season. £35 for the season. Payment for permits cash or cheques only. Trout, Salmon and Sewin.

Safety Notice (Network Rail)

Network Rail Safety team are aware many of our crossings are utilised by Anglers making their way to and from the River to go fishing.
Please be careful when crossing the railway line and be sure to “ Stop, Look, Listen” before crossing. We wish you all a safe fishing trip when enjoying the outdoors!
