Seiont Gwyrfai and Llyfni Fishing Society has fishing on Llyn Nantlle. Fishing is for wild brown trout and it is considered one of the most scenic and productive lakes in Wales. It is also one of the few lakes in Wales to have run of sea trout. This natural lake is shallow, with reedy soft shores, therefore bank fishing is almost impossible. A drifting boat ‘loch style’ allows access to a vast area of shallows holding free rising trout. Nantlle is boat fishing only and booking is strongly advised through Cwellyn Arms, Rhyd Ddu, You can contact them on 01766 890321 A day ticket from the Fishing Passport covers the venue, but the club should be contacted directly to arrange the boat and for access information.
