The Fishing Passport: River Honddu (Pandy)

The Pandy Beat is a 1 mile stretch of the River Honddu, a magical Monnow tributary. It is a fast flowing stretch with a few interconnecting pools.

As well as the wild brown trout that occupy the Honddu, this stretch also hold the odd grayling. For those that enjoy fly fishing with light gear on small rivers, this beat is definitely one to try.

Ideally fished with a 7-8ft, 2 to 4wt rod.
