The Grywne Fawr is a river Usk tributary with good wild brown trout fishing. The Grywne Fawr here flows predominantly over bedrock, so there is a good diversity of features. The wading is tough in places, and the rocks are slippery so studded soles are a must. The beat is ideally fished with a 7 to 8ft, 3 to 4wt rod.
