Rhyl has fishing from a sandy beach which runs from Rhyl to Prestatyn. A popular mark is Splash Point. It is rocky above the tide level and sandy below it, fishing onto mainly sand. Fish include bass, mackerel, dogfish, codling, whiting, plaice. In Rhyl take the B5118, which becomes Marine Drive. Splash Point is at the extreme eastern end, by a sharp bend in the road. Pay and display roadside parking is available.
