From 2026 onwards, Llyngwyn Lake will be open for a 9-month season running from 18th October right through to 30th June. (Please note the lake will be closed during July, August & September.)

Llyn Gwyn is stocked regularly with rainbows averaging 2lb or so every fortnight. As well as standard rainbows, blues and even golden trout have been stocked to provide variety.

Fish in the 5lb to 7lb class are also regularly introduced to spice things up.  There are also wild brown trout and carp in the water.

The fishery has some platforms which offer access for disabled anglers.
