Red Wharf Bay (Traeth Coch) is sandy with occasional shingle and a deep gully to the west of the village.

Fish caught include bass, coalfish, dabs, dogfish, whiting.

On the A5025, take the signposted turn for Red Wharf Bay between Pentraeth and Benllech.The car park is on the seafront.
