Pwllheli offers fishing from Glan-y-Don, which is sandy. Fish caught include rays, black bream, whiting, bass, flounders, dogfish, dabs, eels, gurnards, mackerel, sharks, huss, tope. Glan-y-Don is near the Marina. Just after entering Pwllheli from the east, turn left, signposted for the Marina. Go past the Marina and a boat yard to a turning circle at the end of the road. Park here and the fishing is close by. Pwllheli also has fishing from Abererch Beach (also called Glan y Mor), South Beach and Gimblet Rock.
