Pontardawe and Swansea Angling Society – River Tawe

Pontardawe and Swansea Angling Society has fishing on a wide variety of rivers in South Wales, for brown trout, sea trout and salmon.

Most of the fishing on the main river River Tawe, Swansea Valley, between Ynysmeudwy and Morriston is controlled by the club.

Other waters include the River Cilieni, an upland tributary of River Usk, River Lower Clydach, a tributary of River Tawe. The society also has fishing on the River Tawe tributary the Lower Clydach, and the Gwili, a tributary of the Loughor.

Fishing is primarily for wild brown trout. Fly fishing is encouraged and all wild fish caught should be returned unharmed.
