Penmaenmawr is a sand and shingle beach, fishing onto similar. Fish caught here include bass, dabs, whiting, plaice, dogfish, mackerel, flounders, codling. Take the Penmaenmawr exit off the A55. This is Ffordd Conwy (Conwy Road), which becomes Pant-Yr-Afon and then Ffordd Bangor (Bangor Road). Follow the brown “Promenade” signs. Park on the promenade right next to the beach.
