Mumbles has fishing from rock marks at Mumbles Head. Fishing is onto a mixed sandy and rocky bottom. Mumbles Head is two small islands, the outer one having a lighthouse. Access is not easy and is impossible at high tide. Local advice should be sought. Fish caught include bass, codling, conger, dabs, dogfish, flatties, garfish, gurnard, mackerel, pollack, pouting, rockling, whiting and wrasse. Take the A4067 to Mumbles. Mumbles Head is situated past the pier, which is signposted from the town. There is a large car park by the Coastguard Station. Mumbles also has fishing from a beach, a pier and the Knab.
