A lake near Penrhyncoch in the hills east of Aberystwyth of about 8 acres Aberystwyth Angling Association formerly owned the rights of Llyn Pendam, however it is currently fishless, perhaps due to acidification. It once held held brown trout. Llyn Pendam is now owned by Llyn Pendam limited, (llynpendam.com) while surrounding land is owned by Wales Woodland Estate, managed by Natural Resources Wales.
