A small and very remote lake situated to the South West of Claerwen reservoir. It requires a very long walk to get here, around 3 miles. The lake has wild brown trout up to 1lb or more. The fishing is controlled by Rhayader and Elan Valley Angling Association. (Tel 01597810383) Llyn Carw can be fished on the same ticket as Claerwen reservoir.
