Llanrhystud is a long shale beach, fishing onto similar. It is split in two by the Afon Wyre, The southern part is much quieter, the north section has a large holiday park adjacent to much of it. Fish include dogfish, codling, rays, whiting. Llanrhystud is south of Aberystwyth. Travelling southwards on the A487, turn right opposite a service station on the southern edge of the village. Follow the road down to a small parking area next to the beach.
