Llandovery Angling association runs two fisheries on the upper Towy above and below Llandovery.

Below Llandovery is classic Towy sea trout water, perfect for fly fishing at night. Above Llandovery the river narrows, with deep rocky pools and gorges ideal for spinning.

Their waters have excellent sewin and salmon fishing, especially at the end of season or if there has been a lot of rain in spring/summer.
