Llandeilo Angling Association manage or own around 9 miles of the main river Towy, one of the UK’s premier sea trout rivers, or sewin as they are known in Wales. There is also just under a mile of Cothi fishing available too. The waters are open for both visitors and members alike and can offer some of the best traditional sewin fishing available anywhere in the UK. In addition to the sewin there is also the chance of a salmon, particularly in the autumn months. There is also some small stream trout fishing on two tributaries, the Cennen and the Dulais. Brown trout are also a worthy quarry on the Towy, recent years have seen the numbers and average size of resident trout increase, with trout now being caught to over 4lb. Fish of 1lb to 2lb are not uncommon . 24 Hour permits are available online through the Fishing Passport. For season and weekly options, visit the club website.
