Graiglwyd Springs - Fishing in Wales

Graiglwyd Springs

**UPDATE: October 2025**

The fishery no longer operates as a day ticket venue anymore, but will be opening as a fishing holiday accommodation resort from October to May each year.

During this time, the venue offers fishing holidays or short breaks at Graiglwyd Springs holiday cottages, with a range of tailor made packages for anglers and families. Lessons can be arranged.

The Reservoir, which dates from 1929, is stocked with rainbow and brown trout from 2lbs. There are even have larger rainbows from 9 to 11lbs stocked.

Fishing is exclusive to holiday guests, enabling you to enjoy the privacy of the water from dawn to dusk.

Open as a fishery for guests from October until April each year. At over 18ft in depth, fishing is great no matter what the weather.

The two and a half acre lake is located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in scenic and picturesque surroundings.

Note: In the warmer months the venue is run as an ‘Aquapark’ and has been since summer of 2024.
