The River Glaslyn is a noted sea trout river and fishes well in the summer months at night or after spate. The Glaslyn is a short river being some 14 miles long and the Glaslyn Angling Association holds the rights for most of both banks from Porthmadog to Beddgelert. Glaslyn Anglers controls all of the tidal areas of the river and most of the estuary itself. Day tickets can be purchased at the Emrys House Village shop in Beddgelert and Cricceth Tackle Box.
