The lake is 5 acres and is spring fed, so it is usually clear and fishes well all year.

It is well stocked with all of the major trout species with weights going well into the double figures. The lake access is very good with numerous platforms and walkways. There is a cafe and accommodation on-site.

For 2026, the fishery is under new ownership. Many improvements are being made to the fishery, including repairs to platforms and walkways, along with an improved stocking policy and better access to overgrown pegs.

Early feedback indicates that the fishery is thriving under new management.
