Dinas Reservoir - Fishing in Wales
dinas reservoir fishery

Dinas Reservoir

Dinas Reservoir is 38 acres with wild brown trout, supplemented with stocked brown and rainbow trout. It is a deep, steep sided hydro power reservoir, however access to the banks is easy. There are good falls of terrestrial insects in the summer months including coch-y-bonddu beetles.

Fly, spinning and worming is permitted making this a good venue for beginners or fishing with the family.

Day tickets are available from the BP filling station in Ponterwyd.
