Chwilog, situated to the west of Llanystumdwy, Gwynedd, has fishing from Afon Wen Beach. It is sand and shingle, with rocks within casting distance in places. Fish caught include bass, dogfish, whiting. Travelling on the A497 between Porthmadog and Pwllheli, turn left down an unmarked side road about 400 yards past Llanystumdwy. Park just before the railway bridge and walk under this to the beach.
