A well established lake of around 5 acres, Canada Lake was once run as a trout fishery and was stocked with brown and rainbow trout. Canada lake is now open again as a carp fishery – the lake holds a large head of commons, with plenty of fish between 5lb & 15lb. There are also a few ghost carp and koi. Bait fishing and fly fishing are allowed methods. The lake still holds a few trout and carp to 39lb have been caught. Fishing is pay on the bank – current price is around £20 (Summer 2023)
