Cambrian Angling Association has fishing for wild brown trout on Llyn Cwm Orthin. This 22 acre lake lies between the Moelwyn and Nyth y Gigfran mountains above Tan y Grisiau and is a 15 minute walk up a track from the parking area. It holds an abundant head of wild brown trout and is a popular lake for anyone wanting to wet a line for couple of hours. Any method is permitted. As of 2024, tickets can no longer be booked online with The Fishing Passport. Information on local ticket outlets can be found on the clubs website.
