Cambrian Angling Association has fishing for wild brown trout on Llyn Conglog. Any method is permitted including fly and spinner. Conglog is the largest of Cambrian AA’s lakes (18 acres) lying over 2,000’ altitude. Its dramatic setting, not far from the sumit of Allt Fawr, make the 2 hour walk to this remote lake worth it for the views alone. The lake produces fish over 1lb regularly and fish of 2lb plus are not uncommon. As of 2024, tickets can no longer be booked online with The Fishing Passport. Information on local ticket outlets can be found on the clubs website.
