Brecon Angling Society has about 1 mile of water in and just upstream of Brecon. This is excellent trout fishing with salmon later in the season. Full, annual club membership is limited to residents of Brecon only, although very occasionally there are opportunities for non-residents to join. Day tickets for limited stretches of Brecon AS water are available in local outlets in Brecon.
