Aberffraw beach, also called Traeth Mawr (Big Beach), is mainly sandy, fishing onto a similar bottom.
Fish include dogfish, bass, flounder, coalfish, whiting, dabs, codling, rays.

Approaching on the A4080 from the east, parking can be seen on the left, just past the “Aberffraw” boundary sign. Walk over the sand dunes to the beach.
