It is understood that this water once held wild brown trout and stocked rainbows. It is a Welsh Water reservoir. It is unknown who leases it now. It may be that Henllan and Llannefydd Angling Association have control of the fishing, as they have the nearby Dolwen Reservoir. However it is more likely that fishing is not currently managed – or allowed – at the venue.
