The Mill Pool is an oblong shaped water of approximately 250 yards in length by 80 yards in width and covers approximately 3.8 acres in area.

The water has varying depths from 4 feet at the bank edge to 28 feet down the centre.

All fishing is undertaken from the fishing pegs located on the near (car park side) and far bank sides of the water. There are 27 pegs in total.

No fishing is allowed from the dam wall or between the hours of sunset and sunrise.
