Llandudno: Angel Bay - Fishing in Wales

Llandudno: Angel Bay

Llandudno has fishing from Angel Bay, also known as Porth Dyniewaid, which lies on the northeast tip of the Little Orme.

NB Care is needed as this is a difficult place and not for the novice, the lone fisherman or the less agile.

Fish caught around Llandudno include whiting, flatties, dogfish, cod, dabs, mackerel, bass, codling, plaice, flounders, smoothound, coalfish.

Angel Bay is reached from the roundabout on the B5115 at Penrhyn Bay. Take Glan y Mor Road then turn left into Penrhyn Beach. At the T-junction, turn left into Penrhyn Beach West and follow the road to its junction with Penrhyn Beach East. Turn left here and park as near to the end as is conveniently possible. Walk through the gate and along the path to the bay.

Llandudno also has fishing from North Shore and West Shore, plus a pier and rock marks, the other most well known of which is probably Pigeon Holes, on the Great Orme.
