Talybont Angling Association

Talybont Angling Association has trout fishing on four upland lakes in mid Wales, North of Aberystwyth. The club also has a short stretch of the river Leri.

The associations lakes are Llyn Conach, Llyn Dwfn, Llyn Nant y Cagl (part ownership) and Llyn Penrhaeadr. These hold wild brown trout and are also supplemented by stocked brown trout and rainbows in some of them.

The lakes are mostly old lead mining water supply reservoirs, although Penrhaeadr is a natural water that has been converted to a water supply. Penrhaeadr holds small perch as well as wild brown trout.
