Trawsfynydd is a premier trout fishing venue, with a fleet of boats. It regularly hosts the Welsh fly fishing trials.

The fishing on Traws is mainly for quaility brown and rainbow trout, but rudd, specimen pike to 20lb+ and perch are also present.

Lure fishing and dead baiting are allowed for the pike at certain times of the year.

The club also has good wild brown trout fishing on the rivers Prysor and Eden.
