Porthcawl Angling Association has fishing on Wilderness Lake, which has a good mixture of coarse fish including bream, tench, roach, crucian carp and eels. The association also has fishing on nearby Meadow Lake (Pwll y Waun). It is a carp fisher’s paradise, with a good head of double figure common, mirror, linear and leather carp.
