Penallta Angling Club - Fishing in Wales

Penallta Angling Club

Penallta Angling Club controls Penallta Ponds which are 2 pools of about 1 acre each.

These two coarse ponds in Penallta Park can also be fished by Royal Oak AC and five other Clubs which form the Rhymey Valley Federation of Angling Clubs.

The ponds were created about 20 years ago and were heavily stocked with silver fish, perch, carp, bream and tench and as the ponds have matured so has the quality of the fish stock.

No fish are to be removed and barbless hooks must be used.
