Manorbier - Fishing in Wales

Manorbier

Manorbier has fishing from a small beach and several rock marks.

The beach is mainly sand, fishing onto similar. It is not often fished, but is a useful stand-by in case of big swells. The rocks around the headlands at both ends of the beach fish onto a sandy or rough bottom, depending on location. They provide good float fishing over the rough ground.

Fish caught include bass, pouting, rockling, mackerel, garfish.

Manorbier castle is signposted from the A4139 west of Lydstep. Follow the signs to the castle. Drive past the castle to a car park just past the beach.
