Llandanwg has fishing from a sandy / shingly beach with occasional rocks and Mochras Bar, which is at the mouth of the river Nantcol.

Fish caught include flounders, dabs, whiting, dogfish, bass, rays, plaice, mackerel, gurnard, garfish.

It is reached via a B road, signposted for the railway station and “Traeth” (Welsh for “beach”), which runs off the A496 at Llandanwg, between Llanbedr and Harlech. Follow the road past the station to a car park, which can be busy during the tourist season. The beach is close by, via a footpath. Mochras Bar is at the south end of the beach.
