Lake Vyrnwy - Fishing in Wales
The magical Lake Vyrnwy

Lake Vyrnwy

A large water supply reservoir built in the Victorian era, lake Vyrnwy has been fished for over 100 years. It is stocked with rainbow trout trout and also has an abundant population of native wild brown trout. It fishes well to ‘loch style’ methods with traditional wet flies.

Fishing is from boat only. Boat and engine hire available on-site.
