Barry has fishing at the Old Harbour, which fishes onto mainly clean, muddy ground. Old harbour is very shallow, best fished on a high tide.

For the Old Harbour, follow the signs for Barry Island. Turn left just before the fair ground and follow the road round to a large car park.

Barry also has beach fishing at Cold Knap, Whitmore Bay, Jacksons Bay, Little Island Bay and Watch House Bay. There is also wall fishing at the Docks and rock marks, two of the better known being Friar’s Point and Bendrick Rock.
